Grenfell and its surrounding villages has over 70 diverse clubs, sporting teams and community groups, including;
Art classes, photography, spinning and weaving, a native nursery run by volunteers, bird watching, bush walking, Men’s Shed, Dramatic Society, car clubs, CWA, Rotary, Lions, Probus, Guides, Cubs, church groups, Little Athletics, soccer, rugby union and league, netball, squash, bowls, swimming club, dancing, golf and tennis.
The Henry Lawson Festival
The Henry Lawson Festival is an annual event held on the June long weekend. Grenfell is the birthplace of Henry Lawson, one of Australia’s best loved poets and writer of short stories. 2015 was the 58th year of the festival, and it was a fantastic event.
The Grenfell Gold Fest
The Grenfell Gold Fest provides you with the opportunity to step back in time and experience the life and times of the 1860’s, when gold was first discovered in Grenfell.
